Well done on Chinese Short Courses !

On May 21, 2025, the Confucius Institute of Chinese Medicine at the University of the Western Cape held a closing ceremony for its HSK short courses. Over 40 students from HSK Levels 1 to 3 participated in the event. The directors, Dr. Changhong Wu and Prof. Haofeng Sun, each delivered speeches. They fully recognized the students’ progress in learning Chinese and encouraged them to continue their efforts in exploring the Chinese language and culture.

Three student representatives shared their learning experiences on stage, expressing their strong interest in Chinese language study. The event also featured student talent performances and a tea ceremony demonstration, allowing both teachers and students to experience the joy of language learning and the charm of traditional Chinese culture in a relaxed atmosphere. The ceremony not only celebrated the students’ achievements but also further boosted their confidence and enthusiasm for learning Chinese.
