On February 20, the Confucius Institute of Chinese Medicine at the University of the Western Cape (CI at UWC) conducted an exciting roadshow at the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The event primarily introduced the institute's facilities and services, Chinese language and culture courses, as well as the academic cooperation projects between UWC and Chinese universities.
During the event, teachers from the Confucius Institute provided a detailed overview of academic cooperation between UWC and Chinese universities, including academic exchanges between China and South Africa, as well as future joint doctoral programs. The institute also showcased its wide range of cultural activities, such as celebrating traditional Chinese festivals and hosting cultural lectures, inviting faculty and students to participate and experience the unique charm of Chinese culture. Additionally, the Confucius Institute introduced its various learning and exchange services, helping students better integrate into the China-South Africa cultural exchange environment.
This roadshow strengthened the connection between the Confucius Institute and the Faculty of Natural Sciences, laying the foundation for future in-depth cooperation in academic and cultural exchange. CI at UWC will continue to promote China-South Africa cooperation, building more bridges for educational and cultural exchange between the two countries.
