ENJOY THE WELLNESS DAY!

On April 4th, all teachers of the Confucius Institute of  Chinese Medicine at the University of the Western Cape (CI at UWC) actively participated in the university staff sports event (WELLNESS DAY).

On the day of the event, CI at UWC set up a traditional Chinese tea display booth to promote Chinese tea culture, attracting many staff and students to stop by, enjoy tea, and engage in cultural exchange. In addition, the Institute also provided free acupuncture consultations, offering health advice and treatment experiences to participants, which was warmly received.

Teachers from CI enthusiastically took part in various sporting activities, fully demonstrating a spirit of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance, and earning collective honors. This event not only enriched the cultural life of the university staff but also served as a meaningful platform for promoting traditional Chinese culture and enhancing cultural exchange between China and South Africa.

CI at UWC will continue to actively participate in various on- and off-campus activities, fulfilling its role as a cultural bridge and promoting the global outreach of Chinese Medicine.
