Contributing to End Global Hunger — CI at UWC Join Food Packaging Volunteer Event

On 14 October 2025, the Student Leadership Academy  of the UWC , together with the international humanitarian organization Rise Against Hunger, hosted a food packaging volunteer event at the university’s Student Centre.

Teachers from the Confucius Institute at UWC actively participated in the food packaging process, working hand in hand with students from  the university to pack 30 boxes of nutritious food, including rice, soup mix, and soybeans. The event was filled with energy and teamwork, reflecting a strong spirit of collaboration and community service.

The activity served not only as a public service initiative, but also as a vivid cross-cultural learning experience. It demonstrated the Confucius Institute’s commitment to social responsibility and its contribution to the global effort to end hunger.
