Confucius Institute Launched Teaching Activities for the New Semester

This week, the Confucius Institute for Chinese Medicine at the University of the Western Cape commenced teaching activities for the new semester. Chinese language courses at all levels, together with Traditional Chinese Medicine courses, were launched simultaneously.

Focusing on established teaching objectives, instructors provided systematic introductions to course content, study plans, and learning requirements. These briefings helped students clarify their learning goals and smoothly transition into the new semester. Classroom instruction was well organised, with a high level of student participation, contributing to a positive learning environment.

At the beginning of the new semester, the Confucius Institute will continue to prioritise the enhancement of teaching quality. Efforts will focus on the development of Chinese language programmes and Traditional Chinese Medicine courses, further improving teaching services and strengthening support for the university community and the wider public.
