On May 16, 2025, the Confucius Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of the Western Cape successfully held its second HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) of the year. All candidates were current students enrolled in the Institute’s short-term Chinese language courses. The exam was well-organized and conducted in an orderly manner.

In recent years, interest in the Chinese language and culture has continued to grow, and students’ enthusiasm for learning Chinese has been steadily increasing. Many candidates stated that taking the HSK not only allowed them to assess their learning progress but also laid a solid foundation for their future studies and development.

It's great to see the growing interest in learning Chinese at the Confucius Institute! Participating in the HSK exam must be an exciting opportunity for students to gauge their progress and set future goals. I remember when I took an iq test free recently, it really helped me understand my strengths in language learning.
