Chinese Language Day: A Cultural Tapestry at UWC

The Confucius Institute invites all UWC students and staff to join us in celebrating International Chinese Language Day 2024. We're hosting a Chinese Taichi session on April 18th, 2024, during the Guyu period, referring to a time in the traditional Chinese calendar that signifies the start of the rainy season.

Date & Time: Thursday, April 18th, 13:00-14:00

Location: Between A and B Blocks, UWC campus

Please wear comfortable attire and shoes suitable for Taichi practice.

Sounds like a wonderful event! Practicing Taichi during the Guyu period feels very meaningful, and it’s great to see the Confucius Institute creating among us opportunities for students and staff to experience Chinese culture in a hands-on way.
