The Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine in South-Africa

On June 9, the Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa, held a forum on the theme of "The Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine in South Africa". Yang Hang, a Chinese medicine teacher at the Confucius Institute, introduced the use and efficacy of Yu's scalp acupuncture and demonstrated acupuncture on the spot. More than 50 people, including South Africans, registered traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, traditional South African medicine practitioners, university teachers and students, and community members participated.
