Our venues and facilities
When the UWC CI MOU was signed between the Universities, CI and IR had the opportunity to participate in the designing of the CI Space. And now we have the following venue and facilities available to the UWC community.
Tea Room
In the CI office, the tea room serves a multifaceted purpose. It's not just about offering a place to enjoy a warm beverage. The tea room embodies a philosophy of mindfulness, collaboration, and relaxation. In the fast-paced corporate world, it's essential to have a dedicated space where employees can momentarily step away from their workstations, clear their thoughts, and engage in genuine conversations. The tea room fosters informal interactions and spontaneous meetings that can spark innovative ideas. Moreover, the act of brewing and sipping tea is in itself a meditative process that can help reduce stress and improve focus. Computer lab
The CI office's computer lab facilitates the teaching of Mandarin, specifically for typing and researching in the language. It's a dedicated space for immersive language learning and application. Additionally, the lab is essential for administering HSK tests, ensuring students have a standardized environment to showcase their proficiency in Chinese.
Board room
The board room in the CI office is a nexus for strategic decision-making and collaboration. It's designed to facilitate focused discussions, presentations, and brainstorming sessions. This space underscores the importance of face-to-face interactions in fostering transparency, aligning on objectives, and driving forward the organization's mission. The board room represents the heart of CI's leadership and decision-making activities.
